Hey all, been seeing all these dope 323s popping up lately and just felt the need to show you guys what im up to. Brought a black '81 whaletail ages ago, rolling shell set up for 12a down wellywoodz way and had the dream of repowering it to the tune of a 12a once again... soo i slacked off and it collected dust and i had one more car space left...allong came my mate who brought a white wag from aux, got it down to p norf and started gutting the interior out of it, his startd collecting dust too hahaa..Slackers he had no where to put it so i stored it in front of my wag for a month, i like the feeling of two whales in the shed so i scored it off him for a cheap price and started swaping panels onto the white wag as it was on hold, 1.3L, 4 speed, and was only missing the seats, easy fix, and running on 3 hahaha...
I dropped a 1.5L and 5 speed in, really enjoys high speed entry into the wet corners with multiple clutch kicks and vicious steer actions its like a gokart

dumped it out for a friday night, talked my way out of fines three times in a nyt haha

On the hit list...

*panel bonnet
*paint engine bay (different coulour you reakon)
*paint nose cone ice white
*mount the jail bar (full percy) an bugeye parts
*suss a 12a setup asap haha
*recon the s1 sev struts
*get my lux diff shortened and fab to suit
*black out the interior
*Maybe even run the old factory pinstripes?!?!?! imagine that...

ill dig up a pic of the pinstripe soon, i took measurements of the pinstripe so it will be pretty easy to reproduce.

Any advice on things i could do to make it better, hit me up

Shot guys, im a fan of modgies but just couldnt resist the dish.. ive got enuf ice white paint to lick the engine bay, bonnet, nosecone and possiblyes the arch if i get to ruthless, fukkn one side hangs out more than the other too, like one nuts lower than the other sorta buzz i geuss... id like to drop it more but to be str8 up i struggle to get around town as it is.

love white wagons looks clean as fuck. thats some mean tyre stretch too!

hey dude, wag looks good in white, one question - do you have major probs with your mudflaps scraping everywhere? when i had my hubbies on i put on the chrome flaps and nuthing but scrape

scraping them is the point of having them on shane

Che bol, got quiet a few diff colours sitting on the shelf but saw that white 2door whaletail at a skid comp in aux on youtube i think and just knew then and there that white is the hue to do. was contemplating goin g-black but gonna do the 1972 b16 with it.

Bro the scrape in the back alot, due to palmy being overkilled with speed bumps, they should take them away coz palmys scene is dead ne ways. wen rolling 4 up the front gets a few scrapes to, mainly drive ways are the ones, exhaust tip has pealed open the road heap on this one driveway i go to lol.

time to pluck the piston out and get to work on my conversion using the thread i found on here to do the rx323 conversion, pretty str8 forward shizz, stoked az... winter garage nyts r on... ill post when ive done enough progress broz
